Hey all, I met folks from The McLeod Ranch in Nevada at the "Be on the Farm" Farmer's Market at the Springs Preserve every Thursday from 10-1pm. The Good News -- Yes, they have localGrass Fed Grass Finished! And they are doing a big sale. If we can show demand for this kind of product and support them, it's possible they will reconsider. I've given them information about the Weston A. Price Foundation and hope we can all support each other. If you are thinking about ordering please contact them directly first as I believe there is a set pick up time. I have not personally been to the farm or tried the meat yet, but will be getting some this week. I would make my own if I knew where to get some pastured pork fat, but have been unable to find a good source for that

Well to make things only complicated... Sundays don't work for me. That seems to be my family's only day to be together, plus it's our family's Sabbath day, so we try to keep it schedule free and simple/calm. I could do the phone/internet call that evening though after everyone is asleep. Sorry! But if that was the day that works for everyone else, make sure to tell me all about it. :)

Thanks so much, Tara! Based on my own researches, I made an appointment with him already for this Tuesday, and I'm really glad to get the recommendation from you. His receptionist told me he doesn't do root canals, which to me is an encouraging piece of information.
Meantime, I'm actually about to start using Thieves oil on my tooth (just got it in the mail yesterday). I may try it in combination with DMSO to help it penetrate the tooth more effectively.
